If the quenching temperature of the stamping mold is too high, the quenching method and time are unreasonable, as well as the number of tempering times, temperature, elbow fittings, and improper choice between the elbows, will lead to damage to the mold after entering stamping production and damage to the quality of the hardware stamping parts.

During the processing of hardware stamping molds, if foreign objects enter the stamping mold, overlap of parts, and blockage of waste materials, but they cannot be processed in time and the mold continues to be used, it is easy to damage the blanking plate, punch, lower template and guide column of the mold.

If the spring force is designed too small or the sleeve is not as high as the same height, it will cause the spring to break and the blanking plate to tilt, causing overlapping and blasting, and damage parts. Improper fixation of the punch or insufficient screw strength may cause the punch to fall or break and damage the mold.

When the hardware stamping mold is used, the parts are installed incorrectly, etc., or the bolts are not tightened properly. The working height adjustment is too low, the guide column is insufficient lubrication, the feeding equipment is faulty, the press is abnormal, etc., which will cause damage to the stamping mold.

The manufacturing of hardware stamping molds is difficult and costly, and the mold repair and sharpening maintenance costs after being put into production are also high. Therefore, in the production process of hardware stamping parts, we must understand the causes of mold damage, promptly repair and maintain the mold, avoid damaging the mold, extend the service life of the mold, and reduce the mold cost of stamping production.
